From the 13th of September until the 19th of September the
"Stroke Urban Art Fair" took place at „Postbahnhof„ in Berlin. The Stroke Urban Art Fair isn't just the biggest, but one of the most interesting and international events that take place within an exhibition. Artist from Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Australia, Columbia, Chile, just to name a few countries, have been invited to this unique event. On first site, the Stroke is a platform for Galleries, Artists and Art Fans, who want to get in touch which each other. Beside the exhibition it was possible to see the Artist at work while doing live paintings or chat with them 1 to1 about their art.
Like the name „Urban Art Art Fair“ is already telling, the Stroke isn't dedicated to pure Street Art, but puts a lot of weight in it. It is possible to find an oil painting right next to an Graffiti Wild Style Installation, which is standing right next to an Stencil Artwork which hangs right next to an Anime illustration. Of course Berlin was representing it self from the best side. Our biggest Galleries and Art Collectives like
Skalitzers,
Open Walls (former West Berlin Gallery),
Box32,
ATM Gallery,
the Weird,
Zozoville,
XLab and
Quality Lovers have been showing of their finest in Street Art. No wonder that you could find artworks by
Mein Lieber Prost,
Plotbot (KEN),
Alias, Emess and so on...
