C215 is a french Street Artist from Vitry sur-Seine near Paris. C215s real name is Christian Guémy and like a lot of Street Artists C215 has also been a Graffiti Writer for over 20 years before he placed his first stencil ever in the year 2006. The first stencil by him was a picture of Ava how he calls the mother of his daughter Nina. His first artwork was supposed to be a present for Nina and her, but as we know today it was the beginning of a Street Art career thousands of Artists just can dream of.
Today you can still find close-up portraits of Nina and her mother but also from architecture, animals and people who are often called: „the forgotten ones“ beggars refugees and especially orphans like himself. C215 is putting the most weight into his works of homeless and street kids, the ones who are really belonging to the street.
He says over himself that he is supposed to have a borderline personality, cutting the stencils and spraying them against a wall is helping himself like a personal therapy about to fight his own fears. Sometimes you find works of him together with Orticanoodles, or AliCè.
