Since Sunday a new mural by Streetartist AliCé aka Alice Pasquini can be found in Berlin Friedrichshain, directly in front of the Oberbaum Bridge.
After we attended AliCé the last times (here and here) during her stay in Berlin, we also met her this time to document the emergence of her newest project.
Alice was under enormous pressure of time because she had to painted the whole wall within 7 days. Since monday morning Alice paited for 7 days , 6 hours long on each day, and she didn’t made one break at all. Even when she had her coffee, she wouldn’t put down the spray can.
The mural is showing a typical motive for Alice: the portrait of 6 women painted in the familiar warm colors that she uses usually. All the woman are wearing glasses and hats. She made the whole mural look like it would be a sketchpad from on of her sketchbooks, that she is carrying around when she travels. With an special technic, Alice created the illusion that everything would have been painted in watercolors.
