James Cochran aka Jimmy C was back in Berlin and left three new portraits for a private commission.
The brief was to paint three famous and important people from Germany. Jimmy decided for:
the actress Marlene Dietrich and the scientists Maria Goeppert-Mayer and Albert Einstein.
His aim was to paint them on the climax of their careers: Marlene Dietrich as a Hollywood star and female style influnencer,
Maria Goeppert-Mayer when she got the Nobel prize for physics ( she is one of two and the last female awardees) and Albert Einstein when
he had the idea for the theory of relativity.
