The Artbase 2012 was suposed to be on the second highest mountain of Berlin, called the Teufelsberg (Devils Hill). It is located in the former West Berlin part and because of the the level of highness it was the perfect place for NSA (National Security Agnecy) to place there monitoring station to install a development point for interceptions of all kinds, to spy the DDR (former East Berlin). Like on the Artbase 2011 which was taking place in an old abandoned hospital it was a abandoned place which was historically perfect to create a place, where the history of Berlin, the cold war and the modern Street Art create a perfect symbiosis example of Berlins creativity.
Unfortunately it will take place now somewhere else, luckily the tireless Street Artists already painted everything there. The new location is still kept secret.

That Mural is painted for the Artbase 2012 by the Argentinian Street Artist Ema Alaniz who is located in Berlin.

This roof top painting, probably made by „Mein Lieber Prost“ is an evidence for a new „Berlin Spricht“ video rapped by Emus Primus, but the lyrics come from the Street Art of Berlin. Check out our post about it!
